Fits neatly through a slot in a flat area of a bowsprit up to 2.5" thick. The stemhead is cast manganese bronze. Below the bowsprit is a hole to mount the bobstay wire. The stemhead has six mounting holes for 5/16" fasteners which thread into the cast backing plate. Backing plate is not pre-drilled to allow for a custom fit. Two sizes available.
