Solid bronze construction with proper UL listing. Attention has been given to the installation of the seacock. Each valve is designed with a caulking groove on the base to improve watertightness (see detail photo of undersides). The mounting holes are enclosed slots to fully support a washer and the head of the mounting fasteners.
A turning key has a cast bronze handle attached to it with a stainless steel fastener. Our shut-off stop (see detail photo) ensures the user that the valve is in the closed position when required.
The hose adapter is grooved for positive hose clamping. The base has a female straight pipe thread so a Spartan thru-hull can be properly installed. Two drain fasteners are located to either side of the seacock housing and can be used to drain the valve during lay-up. The full-opening plug type seacock is easily dismantled for annual maintenance.
All Spartan seacocks are fitted, assembled and pressure tested by hand to ensure proper operation and quality control. Please note that the tapered plug and barrel assembly are a matched pair. Both parts CANNOT be interchanged with another seacock assembly. We do not sell the body or the plug separately.

Solid bronze construction with proper UL listing. Typical of our standard seacocks but with a threaded top to accept Spartan 90° elbow and straight hose adapters.
The 1 1/2" (S683) full-flow seacock provides the maximum flow-through that would be allowed by the 1 1/2" thru-hull opening.
All adapters and nuts are cast bronze and the rubber washer used to seal the adapters is 90 durometer Buna-N Rubber.
Seacock Adapters- Straight and Elbow
Straight portion is ribbed for a secure hose grip and accommodates 2 hose clamps. The 90° elbow rotates 360 degrees to allow for proper positioning prior to tightening the nut. All adapters and nuts are cast bronze and the rubber washer used to seal the adapters is 90 durometer Buna-N Rubber. Multiple sizes available, please use drop-down menu to select.
Seacock Handle
Solid cast bronze handle with stainless steel 1/4-20 retaining fastener. Standard size fits up to 1 1/2" Spartan Seacocks. Large size available for 2" seacocks.

Seacock Grease
Specially formulated grease specified in the manufacturing of our Spartan Seacocks. Used to maintain seacocks in good working order. Packed in non-corrosive 6 oz. container.
Seacock Lapping Compound
Liquid sandpaper that provides a method for improving seacock bearing surfaces. This specifically designed compound is used to improve small weeping problems when cleaning and greasing does not work.
